Here's something a bit more themed to the holidays...the S20 edition of Shopping Spree week. This is actually the first week to use the skinny wheel font (meaning that the next 5 weeks aired after, barring NFL Players Week, are out of taping order). Also the LOSE A TURN lettering is placed higher up the wedge...this is corrected by the time of the Nashville shows.

THING

Pete goes for PGMA...and Vanna's shaking her head.

He has absolutely nothing and can't solve BOOK REVIEW for another $25,000. You still made my area proud, sir.

PETE'S FINAL TOTAL:$35,350 ($31,850 plus the BrandSource spree)

What you see on TV is absolutely perfect...but it's really not in the studio. In a blooper shown, Vanna can't exactly remember the name of the convertible on the stage (Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder; she said it out loud afterwards). Pat explains that "he can't work under these conditions". Yes, you get a lot of sympathy with these bloopers as well...

OVERALL THOUGHTS: Despite the Bonus Round loss, Pete put on a really stellar performance this night! That end blooper was funny as well. 8/10

This is why we watch. Not only for the gut punch, but the random acts of insanity that make you cheer for total strangers, the brothers doing "YMCA," or the wife jumping into her husbands arms which led to the greatest ad lib between Pat & Vanna, etc, etc, etc).

There's a reason this show has been on so long.

I'll never quit watching. Hopefully, you won't either.
