This guide will help you solve the puzzle in Tomb of Miktrull on Zeffo, one of the most challenging puzzles in Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order!
Your return to Zeffo in the middle of the game tasks you with the discovery of the Tomb of Miktrull and its exploration. Cal has learned a few new tricks since his last visit here and solving the puzzles and navigating inside the giant cave is now possible.
After you defeat the first Guardian, you will find yourself in a round room with a broken sphere and a slot for it. You can’t use the broken one, so locate the door that you can break with the Force Push and enter the next chamber.
Interact with the pedestal to activate the mechanism that will push several small metal split-spheres from right to left in front of you. The flames inside the split-spheres will burn the plant that blocks your way.
Climb the stairs. Next climb the rock using the green plants until you reach the break-able stone wall segment upstairs. Use Force Push to open a hole. There will be Storm Troopers in the next chamber, so be ready for a fight.
This is the sphere you need to free up so you can place it downstairs in the slot. Let’s start solving this puzzle then.
Pressing the pedestal will “spawn” a big cube-shaped item on your left. Deactivate the force pull effect by pressing on the lever again. Now, using Force Push, move it next to the wall, so you can use it to climb on it and to the upper level.
At the end of the corridor you will find a staircase leading you back downstairs. Follow it. A few Stormtroopers will stand in your way. Then a bit of a jumping segment with some wall-running, followed by a double rope jump until you find yourself on the pathway with the weird self-exploding plants (Skungus) on the ground. You can Force Push them out of your way, but remember that they re-spawn.
When you find yourself in this place (shown above), first thing you need to do is press interact with the pedestal in front of you.
The mystic forces of the Tomb of Miktrull will activate to pull these four metal constructs towards the middle of the area, allowing you to use them to move forward.
Follow the path in front of you. Use the green plants on the metal construct to move to the other side. Jump down on the next platform and defeat the Stormtroopers there. Then turn left. Walk the wooden ledge and follow the path to the run-wall segment. After the wall-jump climb up on the platform to face the Purge Trooper that had just landed there.
Now interact with the pedestal on this platform to deactivate the mechanism and release the four metal constructs to return back to their original positions so you can continue.
Jump to the metal construct and go on its other side by using the green plants. Follow the straight-forward path, defeat the Trooper there and get to the next pedestal.
Bonus: To unlock this Echo (Life Essence), which is initially locked behind metal bars, Force Push the plant towards it.
Interact with the mechanism to pull back the metal construct so it is positioned like in the image above. Then interact with the pedestal one more time. Now quickly jump on the metal construct before it moves away or you can use Force Slow to give yourself a bit more time to react.
Once the construct returns to its original position on the outer circle, climb off of it and get around it to the next platform. Next climb up the green plant to the upper platform above. Do the wall-run and drop down on the platform where a Flametrooper is fighting a couple of Scazz creatures.
Following the path ahead will take you to this bridge. Click on the pedestal to activate the flaming split-spheres. Force Push one of them towards the plant to clear your path. Continue forward.
In the next room you will find yourself walking on top of the construct that holds the giant metal sphere from the first puzzle way in the beginning of the exploration. Force Push to break the wall at the end of the bridge and defeat the Purge Trooper and the four creatures that spawn nearby.
Now exit the small circular chamber and slide down to the bridge. The big door is closed for the moment, but a narrow path on the right will allow you to continue your exploration. Force Push the stone wall at the end of the path to clear an entrance.
The image above is from the area behind the big door. To get to it you need to climb the big columns and jump from one to the next until you reach the other side, where I took the image.
The next corridor is easy. Just use Force Slow to secure your passage or be quick enough to move through these without getting smashed. At the end of the corridor there is a pedestal. Interacting with that mechanism will deactivate the moving stone elements. Your path now leads you through a narrow crack in the wall on the left side.
This is what you will see when you get out. Take the path on your right and don’t forget to save your progress before that.
At the end of that path, jump towards the giant beam. and go left. Then climb up the green plants to face the Troopers above.
The next cinematic will be followed by a training segment from Cal’s memory after which he will learn Force Pull – an ability very much needed for him to not only survive this moment, but also continue his exploration of the Tomb of Miktrull.
After the cinematic your objective to “Explore the Tomb of Miktrull” will be completed. You will find yourself in the spot shown on the image above.
When you get to the top and see the next climb area blocked by this brown plant, use Force Pull to extract one of the flaming split-spheres on the left or right side of the plant and push it towards it to burn it down. This will clear your path up.
At the end of the climb you will find yourself in front of the meditation circle again. Your new objective is now given to you – Raise the Spire of Miktrull!
As you can see on the map above, thanks to your newly learned skill Force Pull, a lot of new elements are now green and available for you to use on your way back to the giant sphere and the room below it.
The corridor ahead is filled with Probe Droids and Troopers. You can easily defeat all them by using cleverly Push and Pull on the Probe Droids.
The path ends with the Tomb Guardian. Remember to use Force Pull when the sphere in its chest activates. This will incapacitate the Guardian for a moment, allowing you to deal a few blows.
Force Pull the rope to jump to the other side of this area.
Force Pull the “cable” from the metal construct on the right side of the door towards yourself. Grab it and place it on the pedestal to your right. This will hold the door open for you.
On the bridge on the other side of that door, be sure to make good use of the Probe Droids to defeat the Troopers.
At the end of the bridge, take the path to the left, leading you down. It includes a Force Pull rope to get you to the wall-run segment and through it.
To open that door, Force Pull the “cable” from the metal construct to the left of the door and “plug” it into the pedestal on the left side, near the edge of the area.
Cross the circle room with the broken giant sphere and the sphere slot, then go up the stairs.
Back in this area now. You need to find a way to free the giant sphere.
First, Force Pull the cable and plug it to the pedestal, as shown in the image above. This will lift up the sphere higher.
Bonus (Echo): Climb up to this spot and break the stone wall in front of you. In the next corridor you will find the same cable and plug puzzle. Don’t do it just yet. On your right, pull a flaming split-sphere to burn the plant blocking the way. Then take another flaming split-sphere and push it through the small hole in the wall above the metal door over to the adjacent room. Now you can do the cable and plug mechanic to open the door. The reason you don’t want to do it earlier is because the hole above the door would be blocked once the door is opened, which will prevent you from throwing the flaming split-sphere there.
To continue the main puzzle, get back to this area. Now you need to burn the plant on the metal chain on the left side of the image above.
To do that, first activate the force field by interacting with the pedestal. Next, go over to the other side of this area and pull one of the flaming split-spheres.
Throw it towards the force field, so it will be kept up and away from the water. Pull it to you and then push it towards the chain to burn the plant.
This will release the giant sphere and drop it down on the bottom level, right where you want it to be, so you can place it on the slot.
After you place the giant sphere in its place, a cinematic will play revealing your next objective. That was it for now. You have completed the Tomb of Miktrull. Please, note that I only showed you a few of the side bonus objectives such as Echoes and Containers. The rest I consider to be rather easy to reach and I leave them to you and your own imagination. You could always come back later to finish what you left behind you on this first run.
